The Pastoral Advisory Committee

There are 15 Pastors on the Pastoral Advisory Committee [PAC] of Vision Baptist Missions who intentionally have absolutely no authority or power of accountability for the president and Executive Directors.

Pastor Trent Cornwell of Vision Baptist Church of Alpharetta, GA can be heard in the Marco Polo compilation video with VBM executive directors stating that they should make sure that the pastors on the PAC won't be allowed to have their opinions affect VBM, thus making the PAC for show and having no power to keep them accountable.

    PASTORAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE [PAC]

“The Pastoral Advisory Committee is a group of wise and Godly pastors who counsel and encourage the Executive Board of Vision Baptist Missions as they develop and execute the policies and procedures for Vision Baptist Missions. The Pastoral Advisory Committee is outside the chain of command [bold emphasis added] of Vision Baptist Missions and therefore does not exercise any direct authority over Vision Baptist Missions [bold emphasis added], but it does provide much godly influence that is a source of encouragement to the entire Board.” - VBM Leadership originally posted on VBM website
