Aaron Smith and Luke Wilkerson

Social media post and comments from January 7, 2023. Pastor Aaron Smith of Tomah Baptist Church in Tomah, WI can be seen giving full support to the following post with Austin Gardner's support and approval also. Pastor Luke Wilkerson who is the Chairman of VBM’s Pastoral Advisory Committee seems to support these sentiments regarding the website and so-called “victims of abuse” by Austin and VBM leadership by liking this post also.

All of the pastors on VBM's Pastoral Advisory Committee have already been notified of this website.

It is evident that many (if not all) of the pastors on VBM’s Pastoral Advisory Committee were chosen precisely because of their views and loyalty to Austin Gardner and the VBM Executive Directors.

Will pastors like this really be able to help VBM leadership see the areas they need to change?

Notice what the author thinks regarding so-called “victims of VBM abuse.” The original author of this post has since resigned from VBM's Pastoral Advisory Committee.

“fake concerns” on the website…

It is obvious what these pastors think of those who might be trying to warn others of an abusive Christian organization or abusive “Christian” leaders who continue to deceive and abuse others and who practice and condone harmful or illegal teachings or activities.

Are victims now the bullies for trying to bring to light their abusers? There is a term for that.

People (and pastors) like this are the very reason why people have a hard time speaking out against those who abuse, shame, rape, beat, torture, mock, and belittle their victims into silence.

Wonder what happened in this persons life?

"Secret websites against secret societies or well-known societies themselves. Your exposure exposes you, for in your cowardice of hiding behind your keyboard you reveal just how insecure you are with your sins. Your fake emails and your fake concerns are mock-worthy for reason of your anonymous fedish. Oh you're so brave. You name names but don't want to be named. Go on ahead kid, come on out from the shadows. Handle the situation like mature people should. Let's get in a room and hash things out like adults. Oh... that's right... discord, twisting, pain, hurt is your game. You are the bully. You are the spiritual abuser. In trying to play the hero you have become a villain. The bitterness consumes you. The conviction assaults you so you fight it with a war that eats at you and ultimately will be your downfall and ruin. May this be a year of moving on for those that are trapped in a past that they refuse to let go of. Jesus can heal that brokenness too. "But the world must know!!!" Okay, well that's fine, let's tell the world who you are so that all cards can be placed on the table. Maybe the fear is if that happens, then people will see the true you. Go ahead spirit of division, spirit of bitterness, spirit of unforgiveness, the trinity of it's a miserable life, speak your poison. God can rebuild and repair anything you try to tear down. And though you seek some kind of justice, know that true justice will come someday and your precious website will not spare you. Your quick wit and intellect and following willnot stand with you on that day. So beware cult-survivor that's joined another cult, you have not survived. You are in far worst shape which is just what the devil wanted. May the true and living God reconcile, restore and redeem where possible." - A Concerned Pastor or Concerned Christian
