How could a law firm receive this type of information yet come to the conclusion that Austin Gardner is guilty only of disciplining 'a little too much'? The report submitted has misinformation, false information as well as omission of very significant facts. Why? Vision Baptist Church can not recommend him for ministry 'for now'.

"I'm not sure. He questioned [the investigator] why we never told any adults or why no other adults ever saw this. I explained at the school it was Austin, Betty, Benjie, Sandy, and your dad. They were it. Vickie helped with some day care stuff and they knew. He said Betty knew. I said yes she did. There were may times when Austin would pick on Tim, Mike, Dewayne, Marvin or myself.and she would Austin leave those kids alone. She knew how he mistreated others and she knew how he mistreated you [Becky].

He asked did I see him do anything sexual with you or anyone. I told him about the night in bed when Betty was in Texas. The ice cream, how he would make you sit real close to him, especially in the car. Sometimes in school he would make you go to the office.
